01Halloween event dates and requirements
As of October 26, these events have been announced but have not started. The published window for both Halloween Candies and the Orange Slime activity is October 28, 2026 at 00:00 UTC through November 18, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The character requirement is level 10 or above.
Use the UTC window when checking availability. October 28 at 00:00 UTC is not local midnight everywhere. Before the start time, a missing quest or absent Orange Slimes is expected and does not by itself indicate a bug.

02How to complete Malady’s 100-candy quest
Malady appears as the quest contact in both Henesys and Kerning City. Start by accepting the named Halloween quest, then work toward its 100-item goal. This is a different quest from The Journey Begins, which asks for 30 Maple Leaves.

Accept [Event] Halloween Candies
Speak to Malady in Henesys or Kerning City. Check the full event name so you do not follow another activity’s collection requirements.
Defeat monsters at level 10 or above
The announcement gives these monsters a chance to drop Halloween Candies. Collect 100; a chance to drop is not a guarantee on every kill.
Return the 100 candies to Malady
Turn in the requested items. The announcement then introduces a hidden mission to share the returned candies with children around Victoria Island.
Follow the hidden-mission instructions
Use the current event dialogue to find the next tasks. Completing the hidden mission awards the Pumpkin Basket described below.
03Pumpkin Basket: published reward stats
The Pumpkin Basket is awarded for completing the hidden mission after the candy return. The announcement does not say that collecting 100 candies alone immediately awards it.
It is a permanent item and tradable within the world. Permanent refers to the item’s duration; it does not extend the event’s collection or completion window. Plan to finish the event tasks before the November 18 deadline.

04Orange Slimes: towns and possible drops
During the event, Orange Slimes are scheduled to spawn in Henesys, Ellinia, Kerning City, and Perion. Defeating them gives a chance to obtain the items listed below. The announcement does not publish a spawn interval or drop percentage, so there is no verified fastest town or guaranteed number of kills.
The similarly named items serve different purposes. Halloween Candies are the expiring event item; the red, blue, and green Malady’s Candies have published recovery effects. Check the complete item name rather than counting every candy icon toward the 100-item quest.

05Missing quest, no drops, or the wrong candy?
Do not import the daily account limit from The Journey Begins into Halloween. The published Halloween section does not state a repeat frequency, so check the live quest rules before planning repeat claims or extra characters. If an event message differs from this announcement, use the current message and check Nexon’s latest notices.
