03Commands and closeness
Type a command in chat while your pet is out. Each pet type has its own command list. For the Snail, level (or lev), quest (or que) and iloveyou are recorded as always obeyed and each gives +1 Closeness. Closeness is what levels your pet up; one database estimate is about 30,000 commands to take a Snail to pet level 30, so treat it as a long-term project.
Premium Pet Food is a faster but paid alternative: it restores 100 Fullness and adds 100 Closeness.
04How to name your pet
Use a Pet Name Tag (Cash Shop, 1,800 NX). Names may contain letters and numbers, with at most one space. The item text suggests saying the pet’s name before a command, for example “Lucky, sit!”, helps it respond.
05Auto potion and auto loot are separate pet skills
A pet does not drink potions for you by default. These abilities are Cash Shop pet skills that you apply to a pet that does not already have them:

06Keeping a pet after the event
- Cash Shop pets such as the Brown Kitty (3,500 NX) last 30 days at a time and need a Water of Life (2,000 NX) to keep going.
- A pet that runs out of time turns into a doll. Take it and a Water of Life to Mar the Fairy in Ellinia to bring it back with 30 more days.
- Bought pets and pet items are tradeable once: if you buy one from another player, you cannot sell it on.
