01Becoming a Bandit
At level 30, talk to Dark Lord in Kerning City, accept The Thief’s Next Journey, deliver the letter to the Thief Job Instructor north of Kerning City, collect 30 Dark Marbles and return to choose Bandit.
The build below summarises Nia Meow’s Bandit guide on NiaMeowDB (updated October 28), which is based on a realistic level 70 build by Grummash. It is a community route, not an official recommendation, and this site has not played it through. Check your own skill window before spending points.

Nexon · Official launch notes02Daggers and AP
The source no longer recommends one line over the other. Meet the dagger’s DEX or STR requirement, make sure you have enough accuracy, and put the rest into LUK, which is the damage stat for all daggers. The STR plan also needs some DEX for Thief armour.
| Line | Daggers by level | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| DEX | Reef Claw (30), Gephart (40), Shinkita (50), Deadly Fin (60), Kandine (70) | Fast 4 |
| STR | Cass (30), Korean Fan (40), Sai (50), Serpent’s Coil (60), Golden River (70) | Very Fast 3 |
03SP order from level 30 (no SP Reset)

04Key skills
Savage Blow costs more MP for its damage than Double Stab, so budget potions accordingly.

|---|---|---|
| Savage Blow | Six hits of 75% each (450% total) at max | 28 MP |
| Steal | Hits up to 2 monsters for 180%; a success stuns for 1.5 seconds and gives +35 attack for 60 seconds; one success per monster | 24 MP; unlocks at Haste 5 |
| Haste | +30 speed and +10 jump for the party for 300 seconds | Buff |
| Dagger Booster | Two attack-speed stages; 180 seconds at rank 9 | 22 HP + 22 MP at rank 9 |
| Dagger Mastery | Raises minimum damage, adds critical rate and 20% knockback resistance | Passive |

06Strengths and weaknesses
- Highest single-target damage of the second jobs at level 70 in the source’s benchmark.
- Haste and Steal help the whole party; daggers can use a shield.
- Very short reach means taking hits often.
- Savage Blow is expensive in MP, and early stat requirements can waste AP.
- No throwing stars to buy, unlike Assassins.
